Day in the Life of a Medical Student | psychiatry, clinic, studying
The video follows a medical student during her Psychiatry rotation, specifically working in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic. She discusses her schedule, patient appointments, and studying for upcoming exams. Throughout the day, she meets with patients who have a combination of anxiety, depression, and disordered eating, discusses medication and dosages with them, and asks about their home lives and family relationships. She also spends time studying, finishing incorrect u-world questions and half of her Anki cards, attending a meeting, and reading the New England Journal of Medicine. Overall, the student was able to accomplish a great deal in terms of patient care and preparing for upcoming rotations.
