In this video, a medical student named Shea Michelle takes us through a typical day in her life. She starts her day by beginning a new block on renal and plans to watch all of the Boards and Beyond videos as her study strategy for the week. Shea attends several lectures, including a collaborative one in a packed lecture hall, and has a meeting with the dean which goes well. She also attends a leadership class where she learns about different ways to be a leader. Shea spends most of her day studying using flashcards and meets with her co-president to discuss a large meeting. She ends her day by watching a TV show and sending emails to physicians.

She goes on to explain her new study strategy for the week which is to watch and finish all Boards and Beyond videos so that she can use lectures and powerpoints as a review this week. Her usual third pass look would be just ordinary studying by reviewing notes. Shea Michelle has already watched around four or five videos as her lecture starts at 8 in the morning. Later on, Shea has a meeting with the dean and a leadership class. She cleans her whiteboard after finishing her pulmonology test before diving into the new block.

Eventually, she is waiting for her Amazon Fresh order to heat up some dinner and reviews her notes and starts making flashcards before attending a meeting for her organization. She then plans to recollect her thoughts and enjoy some rest and relaxation for the remainder of the day.

The student also meets with their co-president to discuss a large meeting and prepares for an ear nose and throat exam on real patients the next day. They discuss how to deal with talkative patients respectfully and efficiently. The student ends the day by watching a TV show and sending emails to physicians.
